Hep! Eventos

This project was started in 2014 in order to manage events from diferent villages. The main purpose was having a mobile app where users could check what was happening in a village. After some time, a motorcicle club (Peña Motorista Tamarite) asked about having a mobile app where they could share their events and send push notifications to the users and I decided to reuse hepeventos. After them, an other motorcicle club (Eventos Moteros Zaragoza) asked me about a different app, and I did the same. Hep Eventos has all the events, and the other two applications only show events created for them. The difference is that these two applications have more features, and although all of them are using the same database, these are expanded ones. There is also a demo App for a private company that is starting to work with this and new applications about Campings and Hostals that are being developed right now. It also allows the admin to send push notifications to the users through parse.com.

Hep! Eventos is also using a CRM to manage the diferent clients that it has right now, the payments and the issues. And there is also a spider / crawler that allows hepeventos to "steal" events from other events websites, completely legal.

The website is developed by using HTML5, JS, CSS and PHP. Bootstrap framework is used for helping with the design and the database is MySQL. All these mobile phone Apps are done with PhoneGap, a web-based technology that allows different mobile platforms to share the code. Nowadays they are available in Android and iOS and you can download them for free. They are done mainly done with HTML, JavaScript and CSS files. There is a PHP API running in the server that gives information from the database to the different mobile apps.

TriGO

This project was done during the Internship in the MediaTech department in Linnaeus University (Växjö) in 2015. The main purpose of this was showing how kids can learn maths while they are in the school by using their mobile phones. It is using the GPS coordinates and kids have to solve basic trigonometric exercises while playing with their position on the ground.

The website is developed with MEAN: MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS and NodeJS. With these new technologies I learnt new development methodologies that are being used nowadays and are very interesting too. The mobile apps were done using IONIC, a different web-based platform that also allows the developer to code one and reuse it in different platforms. The main difference is that this one is based in the single-page views of AngularJS. The App was downloading and parsing a XML file from the server with the different exercises for the students.

Eventos Moteros Zaragoza

This PhoneGap Apps were done for a motorcicle club that wanted to show their events, show information about the association and sell some stuff. The admins are posting all the information through hepeventos website and it is automaticaly displayed in the mobile apps. It also allows the admin to send push notifications to the users through parse.com.
